Vietnam Overland Adventure Honeymoon (24 days/23 nights)

Day 1: Arrive to Saigon. (-/-/D)

Today you will fly to Saigon, the biggest city in Vietnam that used to be well known with the name “The pearl of Far East”. Upon arrival to Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will be greeted by our guide with beautiful bunch of flower for your honeymoon in Vietnam. Then our private luxury car will take you to the city for checking in to the hotel. A romantic and luxury room will be ready for you with Roses, Candles, Chocolates and a bottle of wine, that will make the first night of your honeymoon in Vietnam will be sweet and perfect. After having a rest and spend time relaxing together, we will take you to welcome dinner with candle and roses in Vietnam House - very romantic local restaurant in town, ending the first day of your lovely honeymoon here.

Day 2: Saigon City tour (B/L/-)

Today our guide and private car will take you for city tour in Saigon. Firstly visit Reunification Palace - the former Presidential Palace of Southern Vietnamese Government before 1975. Then visit Notre Dame Cathedral, and Central Post Office. Visit and Historical Museum before taking an orientation walk along Dong Khoi and Nguyen Hue streets where you can get the great view of famous city hall in Saigon. After the walking tour around Ben Thanh Market - the best market for retail product in Saigon, enjoy the private lunch for two people in Indochine Restaurant. Afternoon visit Ngoc Hoang Pagoda – where you can see hundreds of local people coming here for worshipping for Health, Luck and Happiness before coming back to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax in the hotel or shopping at the center of the city.

Day 3: Saigon - Dalat (-/L/D)

Our private car will pick you up from hotel to transfer to airport for the flight to Lien Khuong Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide and car for a short drive to Hotel Dalat du Park. A classical deluxe French room will created a perfect atmosphere for your honeymoon in the city of love. You will have time to relax in your room before having a beautiful private lunch in Café de la Post, one of the most elegant restaurants in Dalat. In the afternoon, our guide will take you for the orientation work to city center, the market of Dalat and famous XQ embroidery workshop. A romantic candle-lit dinner in cozy atmosphere in Y Nhu Y restaurant will be very nice ending for the first day of your honeymoon in Dalat.

Day 4:  Dalat  Adventure (B/L/D)

After a happy night, today you can start discovering the city of spring by the tour to Dalat Railway station, the most beautiful one in Vietnam. After that, drive to Robin Hill. From the top of the hill, where we take the chair lift down to Tuyen Lam lake, we can view the grandiose mountainous area of the Langbiang plateau. Then below Truc Lam Monastery appears among the pine trees. You will find this place so colorful with many a flower garden, yet so peaceful. After that you will take the steps down toward the Tuyen Lam lake and collect our boat for a ride on the vast lake. On the other side of the lake is the resort of Da Tien. You will be surprised with the cute rooms in form of the sleeping elephant on the hill side amidst the pine trees. Then our real adventure starts. This may be the most interesting moment when you sit on the back of an elephant wandering in the pine forest, looking over to beautiful Tuyen Lam lake. Enjoy the romantic time while spending time together in the nature, under the shade of pine tree with beautiful barbecue lunch at Da Tien Resort. In the afternoon, our car will take you to Nui Voi Eco Resort. Located in the jungle, 16 km away from Dalat, Nui Voi is area of K’Ho people that you can experience difference identities of their culture. You can either climb to Pnhatt mountain with the elevation of 1696m, having the great view of Dalat city from there or wandering around Darahoa village, mingle with local people, have a short hike in the jungle along beautiful stream. Stay overnight in the special house built on the tree, there will be two of you with the nature. Then enjoy the simple but beautiful dinner with Dalat red wine at the resort.

Day 5: Back to Dalat (B/L/-)

This morning, the birds in the jungle will wake you up by their beautiful song in peaceful nature and totally pure and fresh air. After breakfast, our jeep and guide will take you to visit Lat Village of Lach people in Langbiang Mountain. After visiting the wooden church and long house in the village, our jeep will take you to the top of Langbiang Mountain with the elevation of 2169 m. From here, you can enjoy the great view of beautiful Dalat city. If you like more adventure, you can do some rock climbing with your honey before coming back to Dalat for lunch in Ocean Palace Restaurant. Back to your familiar and cozy room inHotel Dalat du Park. There will have two bicycles ready for your own use at the hotel till check out time. In the afternoon, you can either relax in the hotel or discover Dalat on the bicycle together.

Day 6: Free day in Dalat (B/-/-)

Today you can have the whole day together at leisure in Dalat. There will be two bicycles ready for you own use at the hotel till your check out time in the next day. Da Lat is so called a city of flower, that you can see anywhere, even at the simple small corner of the alley. It will be great trip when two of you cycling along Tran Hung Dao Street, that was well known of beautiful French Villas under the shade of hundred year old pine tree. If you have more energy, just take about 7 kms riding to Linh Phuoc Pagoda, which you can admire the great scenery of city, vegetable farm along the way. Upon arrival, visit Linh Phuoc Pagoda with famous dragon have been built from 50.000 bear bottles. Just take a little further walk, you can go and visit the local farm with very hospitable farmers right beside the pagoda. It could be one of the most memorial experiences for your honeymoon in Dalat.

Day 7: Da Lat - Nha Trang (B/L/D)

This morning you will take four hours drive to Nhatrang. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the staff of Whale Island Resort and transfer to Whale Island. Well-known for the isolated, quiet and beautiful beach and great scenery, Whale Island is the ideal destination for honeymooners, specially the one who love nature. More than this, a special bungalow for honeymoon will be ready at the resort, provided you the most private and comfortable space in your honeymoon. After the private lunch served at the resort, the rest of the day will be yours to relax in the spectacular scenery of Whale Island before enjoy the special romantic candle-lit dinner served at the resort.

Day 8: Whale Island Resort (B/L/D)

Today you will start your training course for scuba diving with very professional trainer from Rainbow Diver. In the morning you will learn about theory and get used to difference technique of scuba diving by the document from video. After lunch at the resort, you will start apply the theory learnt in the morning in the water. The dinner will be very delicious after the hard day at the resort, then you can relax in your room, getting ready for the next day.

Day 9: Whale Island Resort (B/L/D)

You will have the great chance to celebrate your honeymoon when hand in hand scuba diving to discover Nha Trang Bay. Our boat will take you to the most beautiful area in the bay, where you can take two dives in the morning. Nha Trang is the best place in Vietnam for scuba diving with great variety of coral, colorful and beautiful fish as well as the other kind of sea creatures. Your picture taken together here also can be the nicest moment on your honeymoon in Nha Trang. After lunch, you will have one more dive to say good bye to the bay, it is also your examination for international certificate of diving on this course. This can be a great start for your life together.

Day 10: Whale Island Resort (B/L/D)

You have the whole day together to relax and discover Whale Island. Secluded with abandon beautiful beaches and crystal blue water of Nha Trang bay, Whale Island always make you feel together and private in your honeymoon. May be you just doing nothing, indulge yourself to great nature of the Island also can be the highlight of your honeymoon. The hike on the secluded trail on the mountain around the island also highly recomended. You can discover the islands and have the great viey to Van Phong Bay from above.

Day 11: Whale Island Resort – Nha Trang (B/L/D)

Morning is free to enjoy your stay at the resort until check out time to go to mainland then drive to Nha Trang. You will have lunch in at Nha Trang Seafood restaurant with typical seafood in Nha Trang then check in the Novotel Nha Trang Hotel. In the afternoon, you will have a great chance to discover the thermal spring of Thap Ba very famous about mud bath. This kind of spa is not only helps you very relax but also a great therapy to improve your health and skin. There is the private bathtub ready for two of you to enjoy the time together. You will feel invigorated when coming back to the hotel after this mud bath.

Day 12: Discover Nha Trang Bay (B/L/-)

Today we will head out for an excursion out to the bay of Nha Trang, one of 28 best bays in the world. Our first stop is at Mun Island, one of the reserved islands in the area. You can spend time for swimming, snorkeling or take a ride on the glass-bottom boat to explore the beautiful underwater life. Nha Trang is the best place in Vietnam for coral, different species of sea creature and crystal blue water. Then we will have lunch on another island, Tam Island, relax on the beach or experience some water sports like parasailing, canoeing, jet-ski…. On the way back, we visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium where you can see some sea creatures you might have not known before.

Day 13: Nha Trang - Hanoi (B/L/D)

You have some free time in the morning for you to do some shopping, relax on the private beach of the resort  before check out the hotel and transferred to Cam Ranh airport. Take the flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival to Noi Bai Airport, our guide and private luxury car will take you to the hotel. Check in Maison de Hanoi Hotel. A deluxe room will be ready for your romantic and cozy stay at the hotel. In the afternoon, our guide will take you for the orientation walk in Hanoi Old Quarter before the beautiful welcome dinner for two in Wild Lotus Restaurant, one of the nicest restaurants in the city.

Day 14: Hanoi City Tour (B/L/D)

Tooday you will have the whole day to discover Hanoi – the peaceful city of green trees, lakes with thousand years of history and culture. In the morning, you will visit the Hochiminh Mausoleum, the symbol of the country that dedicate to the most famous hero of the country then visit Presidential Garden, his house on the stilts and one pillar pagoda. After that, visit the Temple of Literature, a central of Culture of Hanoi, that dedicate to education system in Vietnam in the past and Confucius before having a great lunch at Wild Rice Restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Ethnology Museum – the most interesting museum in town about 54 ethnic people living in the country. After the interesting tramcar trip to Hanoi Old Quarter, enjoy Water Puppet show before dinner at Season of Hanoi Restaurant.

Day 15: Hanoi - Lao Cai (-/-/-)

You have the whole day free at leisure to discover Hanoi - the city of green trees and Lakes. In the evening, our private car will take you to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train from Hanoi to Laocai, starting your trip to Sapa. You will have very romantic night on two berth compartment of Victoria  Express, the most luxury and comfortable train in Vietnam.

Day 16: Lao Cai - Sa Pa (B/L/D)

Arriving in Laocai early in the morning, you will be greeted by guide and driver in the private car and take one and half hours driveto Sapa – the town with four seasons in a day. Upon arrival, check in to the Victoria Sapa hotel - the most luxury and romantic hotel in Sapa. Located in great location, you can admire the beauty of Sapa Town from balcony of your special deluxe room for honeymoon.  Enjoy breakfast in very cozy atmosphere of Victoria hotel then take some time to refresh before joining us for an orientation walk around the town of Sapa. It is said that you will find four seasons in a day here, but Sapa is normally seen in a thin mist. The private lunch for two people will be served at Hoa Sua restaurant.
In the afternoon, after having sometime for resting, we will take you to visit up to Ham Rong Mountain where you can admire the view of Fansipan, “the roof-top of South East Asia” as well as the romantic view of the whole town in the mist. The beautiful candle lit dinner will be ready for you in Ta Van restaurant of the hotel, conclude your first beautiful day in Sapa.

Day 17: Conquering Fansipan (B/L/D)

Today your challenge of conquering the roof top of Indochina will start. In the morning, you will take a short drive to Tram Ton Pass - the most spectacular  pass in Vietnam on Hoang Lien Son mountain range. It will be great chance for admiring this breathtaking scenery and take picture at the place so called “Gate to the heaven” before staring your trip of conquering Fansipan summit. You just need to carry only some personal items as the main luggage will be taken care by the potters. Our local guide will take you to trek along some small trail along the place that has the most spectacular scenery in Vietnam. Very high mountain hiding their peak behind the white cloud, great vegetation in the primitive jungle of Hoang Lien Son national park, that cover somewhere the crystal water stream as well as great waterfall behind the green leave. It really worth for your hardness when taking this trip. At time, rest and sharing the picnic lunch under the shade of tree in the old jungle then continue trekking up to the elevation of 2700m, where you can set up your tent for stay overnight. After simple but very nutrition dinner you will have time to relax and recover in you private tent, ready for the big day tomorrow.

 

Day 18: Mission Accomplished  (B/L/D)

Today will be the hardest but also the most meaningful day on your trip to Sapa. Wake up with the dawn, after breakfast we will cope to the steepest trail on your trip. The first section is steep and very challenging as we weave our way through the bamboo forests. At some points we are even forced to use ropes and harnesses for safety, you will be always together for heading to elevation of 3143m of the roof top of Indochina. It is so meaningful when you both sharing the hardness, difficulties together and now reaching your goal. After taking the memorial pictures at Fansipan, you will have time for recovering and have a picnic lunch before taking the trip back to Sapa. You will begin your descent to base camp. Clean off and refresh at a mountain stream while our Hmong porters set up camp and prepare dinner. Overnight again under the stars with the satisfaction of the day's accomplishment.

 

Day 19: Ecolodge Resort  (B/L/D)

This morning, after breakfast you will trek downhill back to Sapa town. The steep trail is somewhat arduous but you will have great opportunities to get some fantastic views from our vantage point. See the surrounding mountains, terraced valleys and quiet hillt ribe villages far in the distance. Picnic lunch on the way, then we will be picked up in Sin Chai village and transferred back to Sapa town then drive to Ecolodge Resort, very impressive and romantic resort above Muong Hoa Valley. From the lodge there are breathtaking views across the scenic valleys below, which are home to villages of the Tay and Red Dao minorities. You will have great time to relax and recover in white stone bungalow; it was built based on ecological principles. You will have full day to enjoy your stay in this resort, so quiet and calm, totally pure atmosphere. After beautiful buffet dinner, you can be back to your private bungalow. You will be totally refresh when wake up in the next morning.

Day 20: Sa Pa - Lao Cai (B/L/D)

The morning is at leisure. You can spend time in the resort or take a short hike to Ban Ho, the nearby village of Tay people. After lunch at the resort, check out and drive back to Sapa. On the way drive to Laocai, you will take another escorted tour to Ta Phin - the village of the Red Dao. In the evening, take the overnight train back to Hanoi on the two berth compartment of Victoria Express.

Day 21: Hanoi - Halong (B/L/D)

Arrive at Hanoi station in early morning. Our guide and private luxury car will take you to visit the Flower Market - the unique market in Hanoi then take a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake - where you can join to hundred of local peopel doing Taichi there. After having breakfast in the local restaurant, take a four hours drive through Red River Delta to Halong Bay, one of 7 natural wonders of the world. Upon arrival to Halong, you will be greeting by cruise manager, welcome on board of Bhaya Legend I, the private junk specially designed for honeymooner and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth, it will be great experiences for you to admire the breathtaking nature of Halong Bay. After lunch and cruising around the most beautiful part of Halong Bay, you will have a chance to take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, go swimming on a quite beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with fishmen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations.
At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset before dinner served on Junk. It can be one of the most beautiful moments for two of you on this honeymoon trip. At night, enjoy the romantic and peaceful time in the cozy and romantic room for honeymooners on the junk.

Day 22: Discover Halong Bay (B/L/D).

After breakfast, our junk will take you to the bay’s most untouched areas. It will be the best time for two of you spend time together in the great nature of the bay, discovering Ha Long Bay from distance to the detail. You either can enjoy swimming on quiet beaches, visiting water tunnels, fishing villages or kayaking. This is the best way to see and feel Halong Bay in the most close and detail way. Lunch served on board by your private chef or you even can spend time together in the secluded beach, cook for each other barbecue seafood lunch on the charcoal kitchen. In the afternoon, back to your familiar and comfortable room on the junk to enjoy very romantic and peaceful time on Halong Bay.

Day 23: Halong - Hanoi (B/L/-).

In the morning, you will greet the day with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay, hand in hand between outstanding natures and totally peaceful with pure fresh air. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto, one of the most spectacular masterpiece of mother of nature in the bay then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. On the way back to Hanoi, visit Tho Ha - the famous village of terracotta products before 20th century. Discover village through narrow and zigzag alleys with the old houses had been constructed from broken part of terracotta from the past. Walking over village cemetery to the dike, where you can see the village from distance over the beautiful lake. Drive back to Hanoi.

Day 24: Hanoi - Departure (B/-/-)

Morning is free at leisure at hotel till your departure time to the airport to flight home. Tour concluded.
